Giant humanoid mantis or mantids resembling the praying mantis - taller than 10 feet.

They have unique and exceptional telepathic abilities and excel at interfacing with quantum technologies that are controlled by consciousness. I often see them as the operators of quantum computers.

Mantids are a benevolent species but many are enslaved in this realm. I find them with chains around their necks and full of mind control implants. They are used for operating quantum technologies - interfacing with the sentient A.I quantum tech. uses, or interfacing with sentient spaceships, or in the control rooms for our hijacked holographic matrix. They can also be used to script people - hijacking a person's consciousness and telepathically influencing them to follow a prepared script (that is not benevolent). Who's thoughts are you thinking? 

If you have mantid DNA, one of your unique super powers will be exceptional  telepathic ability - able to tune in and communicate telepathically to anything with sentience, better than many other species. 

You might hear them if they are around...they make a clicking chirping noise.
